We’ve been hearing so much about organic cotton these last years but do you really know what the fuss is all about?

Produced and certified to organic agricultural standards, organic cotton is a blessing for the environment. Grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers, it reduces the overall exposure to toxic chemicals, hazardous to the soil, air and water. This means a severe reduction on the contamination of the food supply and on the chemical discharge on the air that causes several health conditions.

Organic cotton is the perfect combination of traditional agriculture and science! It requires, in average, 71% less water and 62% less energy, while conventional cotton is responsible for the use of 16% of the world’s insecticides and 7% of the pesticides.
