GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard and is the world’s leading processing standard for textiles. It is managed by the Global Organic Textile Standard International Working Group, a nonprofit organization supported by the US government.

The goal is to certify finished textile products made of organic raw materials using eco-friendly manufacturing techniques. It works as a trust seal that gives credibility to textile industries and companies that provide manufacturing services to fashion brands.
